Yeah, Pitfall 2 C64 Gameplay Video Part 1! This brings back some great memories… but then all these old retro games I used to play do that to me.
A week ago I was watching YouTube and the Retro Recipe channel. Peri-Fractic had a great video on the Pitfall 2 C64 easter egg that I knew nothing about. Basically you can play Pitfall 1 within Pitfall 2 after doing certain things in game – check out his channel and video for more info!
Anyway, it got me thinking about Pitfall 2. I think it was Pitfall 2 or Way of the Exploding Fist that was the very first game I played on a friend’s Commodore 64 in 1984 or 1985. I have to admit, I wasn’t hook into gaming yet, but I do recall having fun at the time.
The hook would come a few months later when I played The Bard’s Tale, Tales of the Unknown… then I was hooked!
But for now let’s play some Pitfall 2 and listen to me remember things from my youth and the beginning of the Upstairs Room Software gamer group!
